How much maintenance does artificial grass need?
Very little, but not zero. Blow or rake off leaves, rinse it down now and then, and give the fibres a quick brush a few times a year so they stand up. No mowing, watering, edging or fertilising.
Is it safe for kids to play on?
Yes. It is soft underfoot, there are no prickles or bindis, and there is no mud after rain. In full summer sun the surface gets warm, so a quick hose-down before play helps.
What does the 10-year warranty cover?
Our grass comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty that covers fading and discolouration from the sun. We go through the warranty paperwork with you when we quote.
Does artificial grass get hot in summer?
It can get warm in direct afternoon sun, like most outdoor surfaces. Shade from trees or a pergola keeps it cooler, and a quick rinse with the hose cools it down within minutes.
How long does installation take?
Most backyards take one to three days. Our team lays around 25 to 30 m² a day, and that includes removing the old lawn and building the base.
What is the smallest area you install?
We take on jobs from 10 m², so side paths, courtyards and small front yards are fine.
Is artificial grass bad for the environment?
It is a synthetic product, so we are upfront about that. What it does save is water, mower fuel, fertiliser and weed spray, year after year. We can talk you through the trade-offs when we visit.
