Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Turfland ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the approximate size of the area and any details you choose to share. When you call or email us, we keep a record of the conversation.
Like most websites, we also collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, the device and browser used, and whether you arrived from an online ad. This is collected with cookies and similar technology from Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads).
Why we collect it
We use your details to contact you about your quote, arrange a measure, carry out the work and provide after-sales support. We use website and advertising data to understand which pages and ads are useful, and to measure the results of our advertising.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, for example our form delivery service (Web3Forms), email provider and Google. When you send a quote request, a secure, scrambled (hashed) version of your email and phone number may be shared with Google Ads to measure ad results. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it.
